Is a WordPress to Shopify migration the same as WooCommerce to Shopify?
Not always. WordPress may contain only content, or it may use WooCommerce or another commerce plugin. We review both the content system and any ecommerce data before planning the move.
Should we keep WordPress and use Shopify only for ecommerce?
Sometimes. This can suit publishing heavy businesses with complex editorial needs. For many ecommerce brands, moving the main content into Shopify creates a simpler system. We recommend the structure that best fits the team and content strategy.
Can WordPress blog articles be moved to Shopify?
Yes. Articles, images, authors and categories can be migrated, although some formatting and embedded content may need cleanup.
Can existing WordPress URLs be preserved?
Shopify uses its own URL structure, so exact paths cannot always be retained. We map valuable old URLs to the correct new pages using permanent redirects.
Can forms and landing pages be recreated?
Yes. Forms and landing pages can be rebuilt using Shopify theme sections, apps or custom development. We first confirm what each form does and where the data needs to go.
Can PDFs and media files move to Shopify?
Yes. Important files can be uploaded to Shopify or moved to a suitable file service. Links in pages and articles need to be updated and tested.
Can WordPress ecommerce products and orders be migrated?
Yes, when the data is available through WooCommerce, another plugin or the database. We confirm the fields and history required before migration.
Can WordPress customer passwords be moved?
Usually not. Passwords are encrypted and cannot be transferred securely. Shopify customer accounts can use email verification, which provides a simpler transition.
Can an Elementor or other page builder design be copied?
The design can be recreated, but page builder code does not transfer into a Shopify theme. We rebuild important layouts using flexible Shopify sections.
Can memberships or online courses move to Shopify?
The data may be exportable, but access rules, lessons and account features usually require a specialist Shopify app or a separate learning platform. We assess this before recommending Shopify.

Can several WordPress domains be combined into one Shopify store?

What happens to the WordPress site after launch?
