Connector Tech ALS came to us for a new solution to help re platform away from Magento 1 and grow the online store. The existing site was slow and used an old Ostendo connector for product and sales data. It was very clear after conducting a site audit and analysis that the UX, in particular mobile UX required a major overhaul.
We implemented this by providing a new, clean, responsive design built for speed and scale. We migrated from the older Magento 1 platform onto Shopify and for warehouse inventory management we worked with local Gold Coast Ostendo integrator to connect Shopify with Ostendo.
Shopify was used to bring the concept to life with custom development and store apps to further enhance the customer experience including advanced search, custom metafields, product filters and B2B custom pricing.
We have seen a marked increase in order numbers and average order value along with key traffic metrics.
