Labels by the Bay is a premium, sustainable fashion brand creating timeless wardrobe essentials with a strong focus on ethical production and considered design. With a growing customer base and an emphasis on brand storytelling, Labels by the Bay required a Shopify experience that could support both visual refinement and commercial performance.
To strengthen their digital presence and support continued growth, Labels by the Bay partnered with Alinga to deliver a strategy-led Shopify redesign and development project.

The Problem

Labels by the Bay needed a more refined and scalable Shopify store to support their evolving brand and commercial goals. Their existing setup required improvements in user experience, mobile responsiveness, and merchandising capability.
They were seeking:
-A custom Shopify 2.0 theme aligned with their minimalist, sustainable aesthetic
-Improved mobile and tablet shopping experiences
-Stronger merchandising tools to increase AOV
-A more sophisticated email marketing and retention strategy
-Ongoing technical support and optimisation

To scale efficiently, the brand needed a flexible, performance-driven Shopify foundation.

What We Did 

At Alinga, we worked closely with Labels by the Bay to redesign and rebuild their Shopify store using Shopify 2.0 architecture.
Our approach combined clean, brand-led design with conversion-focused layouts to ensure the site delivered both beauty and performance.

We implemented advanced merchandising tools, integrated Klaviyo for lifecycle marketing, and deployed the Win Back app to support customer re-engagement. Rebuy was introduced to enhance upselling and cross-selling across key customer touchpoints.
