As a photographer I can see beauty in many things and been lucky enough to have captured some of the most amazing street art from across the world. Now I’m sure these artists would have taken a while to perfect their art but I am sure they didn’t tag someone’s car with an spray can

I have noticed quite an increase in what can only be described as vandalism on the Gold Coast recently. So called street artists writing a tag over people’s properties, street signs and even cars is a pathetic attempt to call yourself an artist. Should the councils provide more ‘free public walls‘ for people to showcase themselves? I believe so! If someone tags my car I most certainly wouldn’t be giving the tagger a warning. So, should the police fine vandals an higher price if they’re caught?

One thing is for sure, these so called ’street artists’ should have a look at some of the graffiti I have photographed below for a few lessons.

• Shoot the best features of the house: Buyers want to see more than the front door or the driveway, so give them a good view of the living room, dining room, kitchen, outdoor entertainment, master bedroom, bathroom and yard. If your property has a great aspect or water views, capture it. Remember it�s about shooting to showcase the property for sale!When shooting real estate property photography for units or high rise apartments you should include the amenities that go with the apartment or condo such as the swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis court, a view of the mountains, beach, golf course, etc.

If you�re shooting the fa�ade of the house, do it under the overhead sun, about noon or just after. 2012 Surfing Champions Trophy

The surfing icons will get to relive their legendary rivalries of the eighties and nineties in perfect reef break waves. The tournament will be staged from a luxurious 39 metre three-decked catamaran, Four Seasons Explorer, and run by the Tropicsurf event crew.

Defending champion Occhilupo, 46, last year enjoyed a clean sweep of all three divisions with wins in the Single Fin (1970�s), Twin Fin (70�s and �80�s) and Thruster (80�s onwards). Occy, then went onto claim the Grand Champions Final and win $19000 of the overall $25000 prize money.

The 1999 world champion is just as serious this year, but also aware that the competition will be much harder. Long time rival and three-time world champion Curren, 48, and 1989 world champion Potter, 46 are included in the 2012 line-up along with the always dangerous Hardman and talented dark horse Rajzman.
