Designing a website - How we designed the Bikini Parade website
Category: Alinga - Created: Oct 3, 2011

Taking on a large website project can be a very exciting and rewarding experience, get the functionality and design wrong though and the process can quickly turn.  We would like to share with you our design process and how it's worked well for us and our clients.

PUTTING IT ON PAPER

Taking the initial brief and client requirements and laying something down on paper. We sketched a few website layouts that defined the main Call To Actions (CTA's), functionality and overall structure to the website.

CLIENT WIREFRAMES

Once we were happy with the initial functionality we prepared the wireframe designs for the client for approval.
Homepage / inner page / news and gallery pages. After a few revisons we received the approval and then proceeded to the creative.

DESIGN THE CREATIVE

After a few revisions we received the approval and then proceeded onto the creative stage. This is where we defined the navigation, typography styles and overall look for the website.

“I was referred to Alinga from another friend and have now formed a strong 3 year business relationship. Previously I always used larger design agencies for my various businesses but I’m glad I was introduced to Adrian and Alinga as he made me feel important and listened to what I wanted. I would also like to mention that I now have more time to work on my other business as I can rely on Alinga to get my work completed the way I want it”
